5 Reasons Why You Are Really NOT An Introvert!

Image
Introversion is predominantly a biological personality. You could do your own researches and identify the specific behavior patterns of introverts to form the conclusion that you truly are an introvert. But what if your researches are inaccurate? What if preferring solitude and avoiding/limiting social interactions are more likely related to some other factors rather than your personality?! What if you really are not an introvert?!! We will find out what you really are if not an introvert. There was a time when introversion was widely misunderstood. But now, things have changed and people have started accepting introverts for who they really are. Introverts are different and looking at an introvert some would say, 'Do you know him? He is kinda different and mysterious, right? He doesn't talk much and I guess that validates the saying, "intelligent folks keep their mouth shut" He has a cool attitude and has a kind of aura around him that makes him special, eh?' Pe…

4 Reasons Why Introverts Shouldn't Copy Extroverts

Image
Introverts sometimes hate themselves and feel inferior to extroverts. We think the world is dominated by extroverts, which is true to some extent and therefore we mimic/copy extrovert behavior to a greater extent that we gradually forget our 'real self' by blindly embracing the 'ideal self' which some of us think is extroversion. I would say, 'ridiculous'. We shouldn't do that. Instead, we should make our own space in a world dominated by extroverts. Why follow someone if you could be the game changer?!

1) You Can't Change A Personality

Introversion like extroversion is an inborn personality and the wiring of brains are totally different from one another. No matter how well you imitate an extrovert, at the end of the day, you would only find peace/satisfaction in your own skin. Perhaps, one could change a shy person to an outgoing person because shyness is more of a character trait. But it's near impossible to completely change a definite …

Introverts, Never Be Ashamed Of Your Asociality

Image
Disregarding the misconceptions, introverts are not anti-social, but are asocial because we find small talk as pointless blah blahs that lacks depth. Whenever introvert talks that serve a purpose, no babble, no gossip, no nonsense. But some introverts hate themselves and feel ashamed for being asocial. You should never do that! Our asociality is, in fact, a blessing in disguise! There are plenty of advantages of being asocial.

1. Talking Isn't Learning

Talking is the most essential part of socializing. But let me ask you a question, "Can you show me someone who has learned more by talking than listening?" No, you can't! Buddha once said, "When you talk, you are repeating what you already know, but if you listen, you may learn something new." Golden words for introverts, aren't they?! And listening means not only listening to someone else but also listening to yourselves, to what your heart says and to what your brain says. Other than listening…

3 Reasons Why INFJs Are So Unique

Image
INFJs (Introversion, iNtuition, Feeling, Judgment) are the rarest of the rare in Myers-Briggs Types, which constitute only 2% of the world's population. They have a strong sense of emotion and have the greatest gift of life that they can give to humanity; Empathy. They are a misunderstood lot and people sometimes criticize them for being too passive. But, once the misconceptions are rejected, INFJs would be the most unique persons you would ever meet in life. These are the 3 reasons why INFJs are so unique:

1. They are peculiar/odd

Image Source INFJs are sometimes aloof and they would often find it really hard to open up to people. They are over thinkers and they sometimes overthink about something to a point that they would actually become extremely depressed and would also experience different emotions simultaneously without a warning. Although INFJs hate small talks, occasionally they would become very talkative, almost like maniacs in conversation, when a subject really interests…

4 Mediocrities In Life That INTJs Hate

Image
INTJs (Introversion, iNtuition, Thinking, Judgment) are one of the rarest of the 16 personalities on the Myers-Briggs Type and constitute just 2% of the world's population. They are sometimes portrayed as the evil masterminds and villains (the likes of Professor Moriarty and Hannibal Lector) who are cold, emotionless and heartless. But these are mostly stereotypes and misconceptions. INTJs are not emotionless, inhuman or cold and they actually feel emotions very deeply. The thing is, they struggle to express their emotions. Therefore, they exhibit poker faces.

INTJs prefer a logical mind over an emotional heart and they don't want an ordinary life. They are very open-minded people, but can't stand the stupid stuff. Therefore, they keep a high standard in life. Perhaps that's what their brain demands. They just can't stand mediocrities and these are some mediocrities that INTJs hate:

1. Mediocre Discussions/Conversations

Hinduism is the oldest religion in the world, with over one billion followers. There are a large number of Gods in Hinduism, but the renowned ones are the Holy Trinity. As far as I know, Mahabharata and Ramayana (two of the Greatest spiritual epics of Hinduism), the Vedas, and the Puranas, described a lot about the Holy Trinity. The Hindu Trinity consists of three prominent deities: Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. You would be wondering, "how is this connected to introversion?!" Well, this is very much connected. Two out of these three prominent deities are introverts! Maybe, someone would argue that introversion is a Western psychological concept and it's absurd to depict a deity as 'an introvert'. I would disagree. The term 'introvert' is not entirely a Western concept as there is a Sanskrit word that describes the introverted quality of a person!

Brahma, the God of creation, as believed by Hindus, has no direct dealing with the worlds he creates …

We live in an era of information and technology. How would your life be, if you were born 100 years back with this so-called 'weird' personality trait?! How hard it would have been for our ancestors (only introverts) to overcome small talk and social interactions back then?! Have you ever thought about that? No! You only think about yourself!! Let us take a moment, to remember the hardships our ancestors would have endured! Now, I'm going to dig into the past life of people who were born in the 1890's with this 'weird' personality trait! We will see, how things really turned out for those poor souls.

As compared to people who were born in 1990's, childhood would have been different for people born in 1890's. Video games and television cartoons are the major entertaining sources for kids of 1990's. Television was invented in 1927. Comic books were negligible in 1890's and it gained popularity only in 1930's. And when it comes to vi…
